One more wake-up
Today was kind of quiet - except for the hammering in the garage. It seemed like a housekeeping kind of day. Lee fired the concrete cutter. He feels a jackhammer can do the same job with alot less dust and gas fumes. And the digger we were supposed to get today broke, so hopefully it has been fixed and will show up tomorrow. In the meantime, the foundation is getting nicely filled up with again. I really wish the weathermen would stop predicting rain.
Katelyn spent most ofthe day taking down the laths in the garage ceiling. Then Bill got the enviable task of sweeping up the floor. If you look very carefully in the photo you can barely make him out through the dust.

Bill and Lee loaded up the fridge from the basement into Lee's truck and very kindly brought it over to Emily and David's and set it up in their basement.
We had our weekly meeting this morning. It was the same as last week - the four of us spent an hour or so discussing various things and then Lee and Miriam went off on their own to make the important decisions.
Peter and I went down to see our apartment and get the keys tonight. We also stopped in at a gathering for the residents. I think we are going to like it there.
The movers are coming at 8 tomorrow morning to pack us up and load the truck. It's kind of funny to think this is the last night in our house as we've known it for the last 25 years. I'm almost ready.
