Lee and I met offsite this morning to go over the latest (and last??) to-do list. It was much easier to do this away from the house, for one thing we could actually sit down, and there were fewer interruptions. And we still only got through about 1/4 of the list. But I feel a bit less anxious about the progress.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Bill and Katelyn were doing what they've been doing all week: routing and sanding the blocks for the trim on the second and first floors. We now have many little square blocks waiting to sit around our windows and doors.




And in his spare time, Bill made a profile for the window sills in the family room - they match the dining room and living room, and apparently all the other original sills in the house.



And in the rest of his spare time, Bill mixed up some stucco color samples, the first batch seemed too white and the second batch seemed too weird - at full strength it was yellow and at 1/2 strength it was gray. We'll see what they look like when they are completely dry. But,like everything else, it's more complicated than it should be.



The tiling (but not the grouting) is done in the 3rd floor bath. I think it looks great with the shelves in the tub and the cubbies for towels on the side. Bob the tiler has moved down to the basement, sorry, I mean the ground floor, to do the guest bath there.



We've decided the basement is becoming too fine a space to be called basement, so we are now calling it the ground floor or the lower lever when we remember. We also are supposed to call the indoor/outdoor room the media room but that isn't sticking.

Finally, for today, the masons are just about finished with the brick floor under the addition. It looks so good, it's a shame it will hardly ever be seen.
